Based in Malmö, Sweden, and established in 1893, HEXPOL AB (publ) is a global entity dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and sale of diverse polymer compounds and specialized engineered products. The company's operations are divided into two main business areas: HEXPOL Compounding and HEXPOL Engineered Products. The HEXPOL Compounding division specializes in providing a variety of rubber compounds, including advanced elastomers such as silicone and fluoro-carbon rubber, as well as thermoplastic and thermoplastic elastomer compounds. These materials serve a broad spectrum of industries, including automotive, engineering, construction, transportation, energy, oil and gas, consumer goods, wire and cable, and medical technology manufacturers. Concurrently, the HEXPOL Engineered Products division focuses on producing gaskets for plate heat exchangers and wheels for forklifts and material handling applications.
